YOUR FAVOURITE RACE?
I don’t really like races, but my favourite one so far would have to be New York
Marathon. There where 120 live bands and 50000 runners and I reckon over 1.5 million spectators cheering
you on the whole race. This was a special race for me as I went with some really close friends and definitely
wouldn’t have finished the race if I didn’t have my running partner Denice with me.
YOUR BIGGEST RUNNING ACHIEVEMENTS?
New York and Melbourne Marathons
YOU USE THE RUN/WALK METHOD. HOW DO YOU FIND THIS WORKS FOR YOU?
I love the walk/run method I think it allows me to run further without fatiguing as fast. When I stuffed and still
have a few kms to run all I think about is “you only need to run for 3 mins then you can have a break” this is so
much easier than “you can have a break after 5km” – I really believe that I finish quicker than if I ran without

tried heaps of different brands). - see Tracee our local drug supplier if you haven’t tried them before and you
will be hooked.

My family – that includes two legged, four legged and winged.
FAVOURITE PLACE TO RUN?
Anywhere close to the beach or river.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT PERTH RUNNING CLUB?
Definitely the Coach (hoping that will make my next session easy!). This is the nicest, friendliest club – it
makes no difference if your super-fast or super-slow (like me) everyone fits in and is made to feel welcome.
